Sydney, Carpet Cleaners are not All the Same
Whether you own a home or business, chances are that at some point you have hired a carpet cleaning company. Right, Sydney? Carpet cleaners come and go, their quality of service differs, as does their level of professionalism. In other words, Sydney, carpet cleaners are not all the same.
When it comes to choosing a quality, trustworthy company to clean your carpets, above all, consider value over cost. Of course, that doesn’t mean that you should hire the most expensive company. What it means is that you should weigh out the important criteria: Experience, references and cost.
Experience
Every company has to start somewhere, and while we would like to give everyone the opportunity to grow their businesses, we don’t want our carpets ruined either. If a business has been around for a number of years, you can be sure that they are, at the very least, adequate in what they do.
However, let’s take it a step further. The experience level of each employee is important, too. Ask how long the employees who will be sent to your place have been in the business, both with their company and with previous companies. After all, a business can be open for 20 years, but that won’t do you any good if their employees only average 6 months of experience each!
References
By this, we mean references from the company (both homeowners and business owners), as well as referrals from people you know. In fact, if you have family, friends, or business associates who have their carpets professionally cleaned (who doesn’t?), contacting them is a good place to start. People you know will never lead you astray. If they know of a good company, they’ll tell you.
Cost
After you have narrowed down the selection, compare the rate for each of the companies you are considering, Sydney. Carpet cleaners can vary greatly in terms of cost, as well as the quality of service and professionalism they provide. If the companies you are considering seem comparable in terms of the overall service they will provide, of course you will want to go with the company that overs the best value. A rule of thumb is that if they want to charge more than $100 to clean 3 average-sized rooms, then they are overpriced.
